PROCESSING EQUIPMENT & MACHINERY DIVISION

The Processing equipment & Machinery Division designs and manufactures equipment for many types of plant, including anodizing, electro-deposit coating and electroplating. Equipment for CFC-free degreasing is also produced. The plants also includes sully automated control systems for the anodizing, electroplating, electro-deposit coating and degreasing equipment

This Division draws on equipment made by an antipollution division and product made by the plastics and composites division to reduce pollution and provide the best solutions to handling the aggressive chemical used in the processes.

ANTIPOLLUTION DIVISION

The Antipollution Division is involved in the design and manufacture of ENVICARE® antipollution equipment for removing chemicals from exhaust gases and water treatment equipment to remove contaminants from waste effluent. The equipment includeshoods, ducting, fans, dampers, pumps, valves, scrubbers, chemical tanks, septic tanks and all associated parts.

The equipment parts are made from Steel, Stainless steel, titanium and others metals; thermoplastics including PVC, CPVC, PE, PP, PVDF, ECTFE and others chemical resistant thermoplastics; and Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastics including unsaturated polyesters, epoxies and other chemical resistant thermosetting plastics.

CHEMICAL RESISTANT

PRODUCT DIVISION

The plastics and composites division operates in two separates plants; the Thermoplastics Plant and the Reinforced Plastic/Composites Plant. This division designs, manufacturer and fabricates thermoplastics  and glass fiber reinforced plastics products for commercial and industrial uses.

THERMOPLASTICS FABRICATION

Thermoplastics are plastics which are processed and formed by the application of heat. Some types may be welded. In the thermoplastics plat, various forms such as sheet, pipe,, fittings are fabricated into different products such as hoods, ducting, fan, stack, tanks and pumps.

The thermoplastics materials fabricated includes:

  • PE    Polyethylene
  • PP    Polypropylene
  • PVC    Polyvinyl Chloride
  • CPVC  Chlorinated PVC
  • PVDF  Polyvinyl Difluoride
  • ECTFE Ethylene Tetrafluoro

REINFORCED PLASTICS/COMPOSITES-MANUFACTURING AND FABRICATION

The most commonly used resin is unsaturated polyester, which is processed as a solution in styrene monomer. The products use high-strength reinforcements such as glass fibres, which are available in various forms  including mat, cloth, roving, woven roving

FRP product are used in commercial application including architectural panel, skylights, decorative panels, roof decks and water tanks. Chemical resistant applications are found in many industries including coal, oil and gas plant, cooling systems for power plants, geothermal power plant, pulp and paper plant, pharmaceutical and chemical processing plants, mining and mineral processing plants, textile manufacturing plant,  automotive plants and marine application.

The product made are tanks, piping, pipe fittings, hoods, ducting, scrubbers and lining.

The plant also produces dual-laminate product such as process vessels, tanks, scrubbers, pipe and fittings using a thermoplastics inner liner, which is overlaid with glass fibre reinforced polyester to enhance the structural strength.
